We love the idea of being "untethered" and not tied to an IWB or document camera at the front of the room. It is so exciting to enter classrooms where students are so excited to share their work with each other.Suzanne Salleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06012574741741568392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075667903647948925.post-70080610170264379982013-03-11T03:01:53.790+11:002013-03-11T03:01:53.790+11:00Thanks for this post. The ability for newer Macs and PCs to project wirelessly to Apple TV is one bonus of going that route (PCs need AirParrot for $10). While we tested some newer projectors with wireless capability, the results were shaky at best (and only available for Win7 on the ones we tested).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1075667903647948925.post-46279492039110608702013-03-11T01:54:10.742+11:002013-03-11T01:54:10.742+11:00Thank you for taking time to describe all of these...Thank you for taking time to describe all of these options. Another factor to consider is what kind of WiFi infrastructure your school has. We are in the middle of a WiFi upgrade in our district, so AirPlay works in some buildings and not others. Before investing in Apple TV, I would try one of the apps mentioned above. You may be having several conversations with your network techs.

One other quick note - your blog is hard to read in mobile view, which is what it defaults to on an iPad. It puts dark text on a dark background. I knew to switch to the web version, but not everyone will see that option. You might want to consider turning off the mobile template in your Blogger settings or picking a different mobile template that keeps the background light.
